Method of handling the three phase asynchronous motor with no start and trip

1 motor can not start may have a few cases:

The power is not switched on, winding open circuit, short circuit and grounding, wiring errors; fuse; rotor motor start winding misoperation; overcurrent relay tuning value is too small; the old start switch oil cup oil shortage; control equipment wiring errors.

Treatment methods: check the switch, fuse, the contact and the lead wire of the motor head, and repair; the instrument examination and repair; found fault, according to the specification of motor with a new fuse; check collector ring short circuiting device and starting rheostat position and start separated fault location, on rheostat; properly adjusting; add new oil, to oil surface line stop; calibration wiring.

Some 2 motor power after the fuse or trip will generally have the following situations:

Motor missing phase starting; stator and rotor winding is connected to the ground or short circuit; over load of the motor or being stuck in the mechanical parts; fuse cross-sectional area is too small; wound rotor motor which is connected with the starting resistance is too small or short circuit; between the power supply to the motor connection line short circuit.

Treatment methods: check the power cord, motor lead wire, a fuse, the contact switch, find disconnection or false fault after repair; repair processing using check instrument; the load transferred to the rated value, eliminate drag mechanism of fault, if the fuse does not play a protective role, selected according to the following formula: Fuse Rated current = starting current / 2; eliminate the short circuit fault or increasing starting resistance; short circuit check after repair.
